About CTS Mid-Atlantic

30+ years of engineered solutions for concrete cutting and structural demolition.

Our Story

CTS Mid-Atlantic was founded in the early 1990s as a specialty concrete cutting contractor serving the Washington, D.C. metro area. From the beginning, the company was built on a simple idea: bring engineering discipline and operational precision to an industry that too often relied on brute force. That approach resonated with general contractors and owners who needed reliable partners for complex, schedule-driven projects.

Over three decades, CTS has grown from a single-office operation into one of the largest specialty concrete contractors on the East Coast. What sets CTS apart is the combination of concrete cutting and structural demolition under one roof. Most contractors do one or the other. CTS does both, which means fewer subcontractors on site, cleaner handoffs, and a single point of accountability from first cut to final cleanup.

Today, CTS operates from four offices spanning Maryland to Georgia, with one of the largest Brokk robotic demolition fleets in the Mid-Atlantic. The company's turnkey approach -- cutting, demolition, hauling, and disposal handled as one scope -- has made it a trusted partner on data centers, bridges, power plants, hospitals, and high-security facilities across the region.

Our Values

The principles that guide every project we take on.

Safety First

Every project plan starts with safety. From equipment selection to crew training, we engineer hazards out before work begins. Our EMR stays consistently below industry average because safety is not an afterthought -- it is the foundation.

Technical Excellence

We invest in the best equipment and the people who know how to use it. Brokk robots, diamond wire saws, GPR scanners -- the right tool for the job, operated by crews with decades of field experience. Precision is not optional.

Client Partnership

We work with general contractors and owners as partners, not just vendors. That means honest estimates, proactive communication, and a commitment to making the overall project succeed -- not just our piece of it.
